Plan Areas Defined
 

Our Plan Area prices correspond to the average prices of the Petroleum Administration Defense Districts as published by the Department of Energy’s Information Administration (EIA). The table below shows which states are in each Plan Area.

Plan Area

States

East Coast

Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia.

Midwest

Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin.

Gulf Coast

Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Texas.

Rocky Mountain

Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming.

West Coast

Alaska (North Slope and Other Mainland), Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington.
